Noah Kahan will be the focus in a new documentary directed by Nick Sweeney. The film will capture Kahan’s extraordinary journey from his humble Vermont roots to global music sensation, highlighting the DIY nature of his early albums straight through to his breakout success with 2022’s Stick Season, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned Kahan a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. The film traces how Kahan handles his sudden rise in the music industry, his impact on mental health discussions, and the pressures of following-up his earlier success. The as-yet-unnamed documentary is the product of Live Nation Productions, Federal Films, and Polygram Entertainment, with RadicalMedia on board as the production company. The film has already completed production, and is currently in the market for distribution with Creative Artists Agency. (Billboard)
