The sequel to the award-winning 2019 documentary, Leaving Neverland, titled Surviving Michael Jackson, will soon be available on YouTube in the U.S. and Canada. Little Dot Studios, an All3Media company, has obtained the exclusive U.S. and Canadian rights to the sequel, which will debut on Real Stories, their premium documentary YouTube channel. The hour-long follow-up, directed by Dan Reed, will update the stories of Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who accused Michael Jackson of sexual abuse when they were minors. It will also provide exclusive access to court hearings, showcasing the ongoing legal battle and the backlash faced from Jackson’s global fanbase. HBO, the producer of the two-part, Emmy Award-winning 2019 doc, is not affiliated with the sequel, after losing a 2020 legal battle against the Jackson estate. (Variety)
