A married couple is suing CBS for making them look bad when they competed on ‘The Amazing Race.’ Jonathan and Ana Towns claim the show used footage to portray Jonathan as an abusive spouse. They say after one of Jonathan’s meltdowns, he was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum and the producers didn’t offer any help. They are seeking $8 million in damages, a public apology and a re-edit of the season with disclaimers about Jonathan’s diagnosis.
Britney Spears was arrested for driving under the influence. Police saw her driving erratically and actually handcuffed her. They claim a substance was found in her car and it is now being tested as part of the investigation. Britney’s blood alcohol level was .06, which is below the legal limit, and she is expected to appear in court on May 4th. Britney’s manager called the arrest ‘completely inexcusable’ and says that hopefully this will lead to a ‘long overdue change’ that Britney needs in her life.
The singer Lorde evidently is a fan of onion rings. It’s been revealed that Lorde ran an Instagram account called Onion Rings Worldwide, where she would post detailed reviews and ratings of onion rings from different restaurants.
Victoria and David Beckham are still estranged from their son, Brooklyn. So, he didn’t appreciate when the couple wished their son a happy birthday on Instagram. Brooklyn saw the public posts as ‘performative’ and has no interest in reconciling with his family.
