Shakira has been acquitted of tax fraud by the Spanish High Court. Shakira has actually been fighting the Spanish government for 8 years over what they said were owed taxes from 2011. They were unable to prove that Shakira spent 183 days in Spain so now they have to return her $70 million fine that she paid in 2021.
Competitive eating champion Joey Chestnut is making the news for a different reason. Joey plead guilty to misdemeanor battery after slapping a fan in the face. Joey says that he was drunk and didn’t remember the incident but says inappropriate things were said and he ‘reacted.’ He was sentenced to 180 days of probation.
So ‘The Pitt’ star, Noah Wyle, has some odd ideas about motherhood. During a podcast, Noah said that mothers were mainly working night shifts because they ‘like to be free from their kids (and) to be home during the day.’ He says because of that the night shifts are usually ‘more boring and sedate’ because of all the moms on duty.
