Ghost reaches the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart for the first time in their career, as the Swedish hard rock band’s new record, Skeletá, debuts at No. 1 this week. Skeletá is the first hard rock album to lead the Billboard 200 in over four years (since AC/DC’s Power Up in 2020), and marks the ninth time the group has charted on the Billboard 200, reaching a previous high of No. 2 with 2022’s Impera. Ghost claims the biggest week of 2025 for any rock, hard rock, or alternative album, while the vinyl sales of over 44,000 represent the biggest week for a hard rock album on vinyl in the modern era (since 1991).
