Billie Eilish has officially announced her new album, Hit Me Hard And Soft, which is set to be released on May 17.

“‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’ MY THIRD ALBUMMMMMMMMMMMMM COMES OUT MAY 17THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHH,” Eilish wrote on Instagram.

“So crazy to be writing this right now I’m nervyyyyy & exciteddd. Not doing singles I wanna give it to you all at once :PPP Finneas and I truly could not be more proud of this album and we absolutely can’t wait for you to hear it. love you love you love you,” she added.

Eilish has been teasing new music on social media recently. In December, she told Jimmy Fallon that the record was “almost done.”

Eilish also revealed the album cover, which features Eilish underwater, barefoot and sinking beneath a white wooden door.

Hit Me Hard and Soft is Eilish’s third album and follows 2021’s Happier Than Ever and her 2019 star-making debut, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Hit Me Hard and Soft was written by Eilish with her brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas, who also produced the album.
