Bon Jovi recently shared a new song and lyric video entitled “Living Proof,” out now via Island Records.
“Living Proof” is the latest song from their forthcoming Forever album, due out on June 7th. The song follows the blockbuster single “Legendary.”
“We bring back the talk box, the idea based on Peter Frampton and Joe Walsh and our using it first on ‘Livin’ on a Prayer,'” Jon Bon Jovi explained in a promotional video. “This is a big ol’ rock song just the way you like it.”
Forever features Jon Bon Jovi alongside fellow founding Bon Jovi members, keyboardist David Bryan and drummer Tico Torres. They are joined by bassist Hugh McDonald and guitarist Phil X.
Meanwhile, Forever arrives in the wake of the launch of the Hulu series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, a four-part documentary relating the story of the New Jersey band’s “40-year odyssey of rock and roll idolatry on the precipice as a vocal injury threatens to bring everything to a screeching halt.”
